Spyware Specialty Software
Is an all-inclusive Internet security suite that also safeguards against viruses and Trojan horses good enough to effectively detect and remove spyware? Do you really have to decide how to remove spyware by choosing a software program designed for dealing explicitly with spyware? Would it be an unnecessary expense? Think about it this way: You probably have a camera built into your cell phone, which is fun for the occasional off-the-cuff picture, but that camera likely doesn’t take pictures nearly as well as your regular digital camera. A program especially for spyware will also likely remove it better than a multi-threat computer security suite.
If spyware could take human form, I think it might be paparazzi. The paparazzi follow a person no matter where she goes or what she does, whether she goes shopping at a drugstore or a glamorous boutique. Spyware does this in virtual reality, the only significant difference being that spyware doesn’t care whether you are a celebrity or not. Everyone wants to know how to remove spyware, too, just as celebrities wish they could remove the paparazzi from their lives forever. Both malicious entities invade privacy to a certain extent, even though the Internet in general and the streets of L.A. are both public places. We all want to protect our privacy. Nobody likes feeling stalked.
